Pimsleur Brazilian Portuguese

Pimsleur is one of the oldest and most respected names in audio language learning. The Brazilian Portuguese course covers five levels (Levels 1 through 5), each with thirty 30-minute lessons. The method is conversation-led: a dialogue plays, the narrator prompts you to repeat or respond, and you’re speaking out loud from the first lesson.

For learners who want to develop pronunciation and listening early, Pimsleur is the strongest starting point in the catalog. The European Portuguese course exists but only covers Level 1; serious European learners will outgrow it quickly and need to supplement.
